It's been a while. Way too long, actually!! Things have been busy and my card making has had to go on hiatus :(. I squeezed a little one in today, which I had intended to make for both The Paper Players #158 challeng and for CAS(E) this Sketch #41, but I missed the deadline for Paper Players :(.
Paper Players was a colour challenge this week, and here's what I was working with:

As soon as I saw the "bow tie" image as part of the sketch, I knew I wanted to used a very old Amuse Stamp that I had, and build the rest from there. I paired it up with one of my fave TAWS birdie stamps, and it was pretty much done! Easy peasy! This is just a little thank you card for a friend who had a few of us over for a BBQ this past week - and when I say a few, I mean about 20 of us! We all had a fabulous time, and the food was sooooo good!!
I have really missed playing along with challenges lately - hopefully I can play along a little more often in the next few weeks!

ReplyDeleteHey, I definitely hear you on MIA summer thing! I haven't had time to even look at my new Silhouette that arrived last week! Brady is on her way home as I type (11 hour drive from Calgary) so I likely won't be commenting or card making this week either! Oh well, we all know that winter is on the way and that means no outside work and more time for playing....indoors!
So cute! That retro shape makes such a cool background for that adorable bird. I love it!
